Texas Tech announces sellout of football season tickets
LUBBOCK, Texas – The anticipation for the 100th season of Texas Tech Football continues to reach new heights as the athletics department announced Wednesday it has sold out of its season ticket inventory for the 2024 football campaign.
This is the second-consecutive season Red Raider fans have purchased the entire season ticket allotment as more than 32,000 season passes have been sold, which does not include seats reserved for Texas Tech’s student body. Texas Tech has also sold out of its entire premium seating inventory in all areas of Jones AT&T Stadium, including the new south end zone addition that will open this August.
“The passion this fan base continues to show our football program is incredible,” head coach Joey McGuire said. “We are so grateful for each of our fans who purchased season tickets again this year. We can’t wait to be back inside Jones AT&T Stadium for seven home games as I truly believe our gameday atmosphere is only going to get better with the elements we are adding with the south end zone addition.”
As part of its ongoing south end zone and Dustin R. Womble Football Center project, Texas Tech will introduce a new sound system and two new video board displays this coming season. The two new video boards on the roof of the south end zone building will pair with an expanded version on the north end of the stadium, giving fans in all areas of Jones AT&T Stadium an eyeline to view replays, live statistics and more.
In the coming weeks, Texas Tech will launch a season ticket waitlist for the 2025 season. Fans interested in becoming a new season ticket holder will be able to register online at TexasTech.com for the wait list and be first in line when new season tickets become available next March.
Single-game tickets for each of Texas Tech’s seven home contests will go on sale beginning at 8:30 a.m. on May 20 exclusively for Red Raider Club members and then at the same time May 29 to the general public. A full schedule of on-sale dates for Red Raider Club members can be found online at TexasTech.com.
